Gory Greek Gods: Cloud Mix

To create the cloud backgrounds for the scenes on Mt. Olympus we started with a mix of real and Maya/cgi clouds. We then used Studio Artist's image operations and paint synthesizer to add complexity to the "antiseptic" cgi feel; to support the narrative and emotional nature of each scene. Color was enhanced, forms simplified and a soft, sculpted quality invoked.
